About Little Robins
Kirsty has two children of her own and 10 years teaching experience.
The central focus of Little Robins is to encourage children to explore, develop and provide a home from home environment.
The setting has a designated playroom and a large enclosed outdoor space, both filled with resources and equipment to provide a stimulating experience.
Little Robins was set up in 2017 by Kirsty Robinson and is based in Chilton, County Durham.
WHAT DO WE GET UP TO?
The EYFS framework is central to what is offered at Little Robins. We aim to provide opportunities for children to explore and progress by observing what interests them and tailoring activities to them specifically. Examples of activities in the past have been:
messy play sessions
musical instrument play
crafts
visits to local play centres
library singing groups
walks in the local area and parks
light sensory play
fancy dress
story based reading themed days
